"Basically, I'm just doing a bit of an update. On September 1st, it will be 7 years since my surgery with Dr. Dan, and even though I haven't been to my follow ups due to not having health insurance, I am still doing great. A lot has happened in my life both good and bad, but I'm still doing well. In the last 3 years I have noticed a bit of a weight re-gain of almost 20 pounds, but I know this is normal and I am getting back on track now to get back down to my goal. I still take my vitamins every day and getting in my 100 grams of protein a day. Soon I will have health insurance through my new job and the first thing I am doing is making an appointment to see Dr. Dan..... My weight loss journey is still going forward. Life is truly beautiful and such a blessing and still today, almost 7 years later....I still have Dr. Dan to thank for saving me. He is truly amazing! "
"On September 1st., 2009 I had my weight loss surgery. I felt calm and at ease as I was laying on the surgery table, because I felt ready for my new life. I wouldn't have felt this way if it wasn't for Dr. Dan and his staff. They all worked together to make sure I knew what to expect before, during, and after surgery. They all took the time to speak with me, and they all answered all my questions and concerns. During my stay in the hospital, Dr. Dan came in and made sure I was doing ok. And he has always greeted me with a smile, and the occasional high five..lol He really cares about his patients and I'm looking forward to sharing my new life's journey with him and his staff. And through all of this, I have also met a few people at the Support Group Meeting that I go to once a month.These people are now my life long friends, and will always be there for me for support and a smile. Just as I will be there for them as well. Dr. Dan won't only help give you back a happier and healthier life, he will also give you some of the greatest friends you will ever meet...himself, his staff, and the people at the support group. Life is beautiful, and I owe it all to Dr. Dan, and the his staff at Summa Bariatric Care Center. I feel so blessed....Thank You!"
