3 days ago i was sleeved... i have a few questions for anyone

the surgery, the doctor and the hospital where wonderful to me.... but my lung is bruised from having a big liver... and my belly is one huge bruise

What can i do to help these two things along, my doctor told me to drink as much fluids as i can for a few days that protein will come in time. But not to get dehydrated. Broth is going down really easy.  but i feel that there has to be something else i can do for all this bruising, right now it is extremely painful.  I am on liquid pain meds and that is helping to a point, but i am asking is there anything else out there i can do.
