5 weeks and 30 pounds gone for good! 

Hello, tomorrow I will be 2 weeks out and I have lost 13 pounds. Pretty amazing! I am walking 1.5 miles everyday to get in my workout.

Well, I had my surgery and am home! Lots of pain, and yucky medecine...but I survived and will be a big loser every day of my life. Thanks to everyone who supported me in getting to this point! Lisa

I can't believe it!  Just 24 hours away from the beginning of my new life...all of this waiting and it is finally here!

Nervous, anxious, excited...a bundle of nerves with all of these emotions running amuck inside of me!  

Well, here I am, you know where...counting down to the big day.  14 days until the first day of the rest of my life, and what a life I am hoping to have!  I told my Bunco friends last week.  I was going to keep it a secret and come back from our usual summer hiatias and surprise them with my new smaller, ever shrinking size...but I couldn't hold out.  Oh well, they haven't seen me at any size but this one so anything smaller will be a shock whether they know about the surgery or not.

Just 29 more days until I am on the losing side of my life.  Who knew that being a looser, or at least heading that way, would be the best thing to happen??!!

What else is there to say...I can't wait!

Talked to my insurance carrier last night and I am approved! Letter should be received soon and I am on my way! Now I just need a date...it looks like it will be in May, according to the weight loss clinic...more waiting : ( ...but at least I am approved!!!

I called the insurance company this morning and spoke to a very sweet woman who checked my status.  She said that my request is still in review, but that there are no notes stating that any addt'l information is being requested.  Yeah!  This is good...great, actually!  She encouraged me to call back everyday, she said it usually takes about a week to approve.  One week is tomorrow!  I hope tomorrow will be my lucky day!

Hello...on Tuesday my paperwork was submitted to UHC.  Now I wait for their response.  I hear they are quick, so we shall see.

I am having such a hard time with the waiting. I wish my day was here. I am so sad...just plain old sad. I need something to pick me up, not sure what that is right this very minute, but I do need it. I am trying to be patient, but it is not one of my stong attributes. Right now, no kiddos, all have left the building. So here I sit, reading everyone's wonderful stories of weight loss, wishing I was on the "other side". I know later I will go back and read this and think how silly I was, but right now, I don't feel silly, I feel sad. Okay...guess I will put this aside and try to cheer up...after all, I have the house to myself...you think I'd be happy! ; (
