9 mos. later.......

1/27/08 -1 lb. a month.. -  130 total..Am I ending up where I shoulda started? All my health  problems have resolved.  I need to step-up the weight training. Not really feeling hopeful at 18 mo.. Doc says you can still lose and Nanette is proof of that,. Need to eat the protein first,, and get back to basics. My appetite is roaring these days and I sometimes feel as if I am back to battle.

It's the 15th of April.. I am averaging only -5lbs a month now.  It seems so slow.. I know in my heart I could be doing things more clinincally. Less fluid around meal time--less carbs--less snacking-more accountability from fit day-stepping up the exercise. I did exercise a lot this month andi lost 6 already. I was sick last month and didn't make my classes at the  Y  for 2 weeks or so. I lost 6 lb. but the body fat o/o
rose..burning muscle..dehydaration?? Looking to a month of good support............

Its 2 weeks shy of my 9 months and I am down 109.  It feels really slow compared to others. I have been sick and not exercising this week. Support group has been very positive-even for me..the one who needs no help..ha!.Regular life creeps back in. Balancing life and wls life becomes more important and for someone who reveled in denial, it is even more important to stay focused and real.

Slow and steady wins the race...but makes me worry that my tool "broke" or why am I losing so slowly? It's not like I was  lite-weight. I know in my heart of hearts that I am doing this the way it will be for life. According to my nutritionist, I have always been about 200 calories over recommendation. All nuts are different. I guess I make my choices daily and I have been able to live with this and not feel deprived or like I am on a diet. I go for my first check up next Tuesday and today I am down 92 LBS.

Celebrating the fact that I have turned back my weight clock 15 years. I am actually celebrating my 9 month pregnancy weight! Weird huh?.I so wanted to be at 100 by Dec. 26TH -my 6 mo. anniversery.  The best laid plans of mice and men oft go astray...Onward and downward-85 lbs. Sometimes this seems too easy. This so called honeymoon is the rest of my life and I keep waiting for the bottom to drop out.

I finally feel the stress relief after working out in the pool 1 1/2 hr. 3 x a week. I actually need it. Bummed however that i seen to be sneezing and headachey from the chlorine.........I need the water. Found out the benefits of wls support. The Pa. people are so strongly attached to needing each other ,supporting each other,and helping as is OH. I feel renewed and my lbs. are slowly continuing downward.

I really am shrinking..I made it to the  Y to swim for 1 1/2 hrs.

Bouncing around the same 3-4 lbs. Some water weight lots of water aerobics. Like the workouts. Chicken made me sick yesterday -too dry. Been adding carbs and think i should stop. Love soups..as a meal it's liquid. Protein first-chew

3 lb since last update...slow pms carbs. Lots of exercise
I get sad when I see the weight losses of those that are losing so much faster.
