One Year Post OP..Oh what a year!!

Hi everyone,

Sorry is has been so long since I have updated my profile.  Been a long roller coaster of a year.  Weight loss and inches lost have been steady.  Health is improving greatly, no longer diabetic, cholesterol is greatly improved, no longer taking blood pressure medicine.  Downside is having to take 2 types of depression medication, daily.  Not sleeping well without medication, still having pain in my back, hips, knees and hands from arthritis (pain medication helps).

My family dr. is very impressed with the changes I have made over the past year, as I was the first person he has witnessed going through this process.  Has since referred several people for the RNY.  Best decision I have ever made for myself.

Over all I don't regret having the surgery.  Best of luck to everyone.
