Well, I havent posted here in awhile. What a ride it has been! I am now all but 7 months out of surgery & I feel GREAT! The first few months were horrible.....I had buyers remorse & also an open wound that wouldnt heal. But once those few things improved, I havent looked back! It is a struggle everyday to make sure I am getting in all my vitamns, all my protein, and all my water, but this was a choice I made. Exercise is something that I never thought I would do, but now I enjoy it. I have lost around 120 pounds already and honestly, I dont want to lose much more....maybe 30 pounds. I still dont see my weight loss when I look in the mirror & that does scare me, but I know the weight is gone. My PCP is already recommending plastics to remove loose skin on my belly & thighs due to reoccuring infections......now this scares me & I am trying to research more.I just want to say to anyone who may be reading this that is pre-op......research, research, nd research some more.....this is a life changing event that will alter every part of your being.
