Hello Darlene, My name is Gricel Camacho (Crystal) I just wanted to let you know that I have read your profile and your story has been soo insperational to me. I am very happy that I read it. I am in the beginning stages... I have been researching WLS for about 4 years... my husband was not very supportive in tbe beginning (4 yrs ago) so I did not pursue... But now god has blessed me with my first child (36yrs) and I want to be able to run and play with him... I expressed this to my husband and now he is supporting me 100%. Now I have the umpth and stemina to continue my dream of losing weight and keeping it off. I felt every word you wrote in your profile... that is exactly how I am feeling right now you brought tears to my eyes and I want to thank you!!! I hope everything is going well for you today 7/1. I have UHC Choice EP1 and I was wondering what procedures did you have to go through? Can you please share that with me? If so please feel free to email me at [email protected]. Hope you are doing better! My prayers are with you for a sppedy recovery. Always remember the best is yet to come. I have been told that by so many people and it is true. These problems will subside. Give it time you will get there. God Bless you! Chelle

Just a quick note to let everyone know that Darlene had her surgery yesterday. I went to visit her today and she looks well and had been up walking. Last night had some problems with low blood pressure, seemingly from dehydration, so had IV fluids today. Blood count a little low today, but hadn't seen Dr. Fallang yet today when I visited. Think positive thoughts and say prayers that everything will be fine. She does look and feel pretty good for post op day 1.
