"My testimonial will be a little different being I had my band put in down in mexico, I flew in on a tuesday and left on a thursday so I really only dealt with the doctor for one full day and two part days. My first impression was a good one for me, I was in the waiting room waiting my turn to get my ekg done when he snuck up behind me and put his arm on my shoulder and asked how everything was going and then shook my hand. it seemed for those 3 days I was there I saw him alot walking around between the office and the floor the patients stayed on. I think I talked to him 5 times in those 3 days I was there 3 of the times was when he stopped in my room. his receptionists speak good english but some of the nurses that do like your ekg and blood work dont speak english so that was kind of weird just having them do stuff to you and not knowing what was going on. Being it was in mexico most of its in and out patients meaning he doesnt really become your lap band aftercare doc for most, he does have free fills if go to his office. but he does stress that you find a good aftercare and probably get into counseling being your going to have a life changing surgery. He is straight forward with the surgery, he has never lost a patient from surgery and he has done over 2800 band procedures but he says there is always a risk. overall I must say he is an excellent doctor and with all the credentials he has he makes you feel comfortable being your most likely flying in one day getting banded the next and out the following.
