It's the beginning of a new life

Things have moved very fast for me in the last 5 months. I have completed everything and qualifed for my surgery.
It wasn't a difficult decision to make. My family and I have prayed alot about it and God gave us such peace.
Had ny surgery 2 weeks ago and things are going very well. Now, I didn't have alot of weight to lose only 60 pounds but my other health issues put me over the top in regards to having the surgery. My health was the main reason for me having it done, weight loss is an added bonus.
So far my Dr. has taking me down from 40units of insulin twice a day to only 15units twice a day. She had also lowed my bood pressure medician by half. That's in only 2 weeks time. I am so greatful.
I have not had any big problems after the surgery except for pain in the morning because I tend to roll over and sleep on my stomach. Not a good thing! The incesions are healing niceley. And so far I have lost 16 pounds since I started on the pre-diet.
My hospital experience was great!! I went to Marshfield clinic in Marshfield WI. They have a wonderful Bariatic Center! My Dr. was Vijaya Nirujogi. She was wonderful. Very caring and explained to me all I needed to know. I thank the Lord he brought her to me for this purpose. The hospital staff at Saint Joe Hospital was one of the best I have ever been in. Everyone there was so nice and very helpful!!
I am really looking forward to what the Lord has in store for me and how I can use this experience for Hid honor and glory.
