Hi Lori-Belle, Hear you are now on the LOSER's BENCH with us. I am so happy for you and Teresa says you look great. I weighed here at school and have lost 50 pounds total already. I feel great and look forward to shedding the other 50. Keep me posted on how you are doing. Love, Estherjane

Friday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else. Hi Lori, I am a patient of Dr. Krahn's too and about to start my 4 week class this week. I too had submitted to my insurance last summer for approval just to see the dr. They denied me initially and I was so bummed out. The letter stated that I could appeal and I was not in the mood to do a dance to get this done. I felt hopeless. I spoke with the gal at my PCP office and she said to appeal it because she had seem 75% of the denials get overturned. I think the insurance company wants to see that we are serious about this. I am not sure why they do what they do because most of it makes no sense to me either. My point is they overturned my medical groups denial and everything has been going so fast now. I already had my psych eval. and gall bladder US and upper GI. All that is left is the class and then we will wait for the surgery date. DON'T give up! Write the appeal and pour your heart ouot. Explain your family history if it applies and medical problems. I am telling it's worth the shot and in a few months you could be looking at a surgery date. God Bless and don't give up that is what they want. If this is God's will for you it will happen.
