Overall, I think I'm doing okay! I'm currently in the middle of the dreaded "third week stall." I intentionally haven't weighed myself in several days, since the stall is a little depressing. I know the stall will eventually stop, though. I'm weigh

Do you take any oral supplements in addition to using the patches? My shipment of multivitamin patches is on it's way to me, but I'm wondering if I should take any other supplements as well. My vitamin D was low prior to surgery (I work midnights and

I just had my band-to-bypass surgery a little over 3 weeks ago now. I'm trying to make sure I weigh myself only once a week, since I got obsessed with the scale when I first had my band surgery, and I don't want to do that again. When I last weighed

My doctor wants me to take 3,000 IU per day. I've got 2000 IU softgels, so I'm wondering if 4,000 IU would be okay to take, especially since I'm low on vitamin D anyway (pre-surgery, it was 12).

I just found out that I'm getting my band-to-RNY revision done on August 24th! I'm thrilled, but I'l also freaking out because I've only got about 2 1/2 weeks to get all of my medical clearances done (blood labs, chest xray, cardiac clearance, etc.).

After 7 months of trying, I finally got approval to have my band removed and be revised to RNY! I can't wait!

I finally got approved for revision from lap-band (my second one) to RNY! I'm so excited. The surgeon's coordinator doesn't want to schedule me until I have all my medical clearances done, but I really want to go ahead and get a date. My mom is goin

I had my initial nutrition consultation with my surgeon's nurse and coordinator yesterday, and she thinks that my insurance SHOULD approve me for a revision/conversion from lap-band to RNY with only a letter of medical necessity from my PCP, a psych ev
