Private profiles

If someone has a private profile the website doesn't even allow the page to come up in order to give the option of sending a friend request or message to the person. I understand some want their content private (well really I don't because we're all in the same boat) but if you don't want to be CONTACTED what is the point in being on here? Why does obesity help have it designed that way??? You can see me, my profile, reach out to me but I have no idea who you are liking my photos or commenting. Ok I guess #Whateva
