All is well, this is my second day at the resort.  It´s beautiful here.  I´m doing well.  The most torturous event so far is the fact that I am in Mexico and I cannot eat Mexican food.  It´s everywhere in noseshot!  It´s OK, though.  I can tell I´ve already lost some weight.  I´ll update more when I´m not pressed for cybercafe time.  xoxo jena

So after the research and my decision to go to Puerto Vallarta and have LapRNY with Dr. Joya, I had to get my finances in line and apply for a passport.  Pretty easy, I paid extra to have it expedited.  The passport cost about $170 and took about 2 weeks to arrive.

My money for the procedure came from different sources, including the sale of a 50" Pioneer Plasma TV and my motorcycle.  And running some credit cards to the ground.  *sigh*.  But my new life will be worth it, I know.

I have waited every day now for about 9 weeks for this date to arrive, I have thought about it almost every waking minute.  I have forgone so many extras, Christmas gifts, New Years parties out of town with friends...

And here I am, about to pack.  I've got $11,500 in $100 dollar bills in a big thick stack to take with me to Mexico.  It's pretty cool, some friends and I have taken some "blinged out" pictures with all that money!  Silly...

I know I won't be able to sleep tonight, I've got so much adrenaline pumping.

I look forward to documenting this journey, and meeting other "losers" on the way.
