Second time down. Took 2 months! Arrrrgh! So frustrating! Yes. Better than gaining 5 pounds.

Damn plateaus.

I had my surgery 7 1/2 years ago. For the next year I steadily lost - almost 100 pounds, but still 30 shy of my goal.

Then I retired. I fudged a little here and there, but since my weight loss was steady, I never changed any of my other habits

My son is getting married on Saturday... - ...but my head was doing a number on me, telling me I have gained weight.  So I went to the doctor's office and had them weigh me. (I don't weigh except at the doctor's office, ...

A year later... - ...slowly losing still...VERY slowly...but through the holidays and still losing.  I don't get on the scale except at the doctor's office.  Funny that I can FEEL that I am gaini...

9 months post-op - Lost another 13 pounds.  It's going slowly now, but still moving in the right direction at least!

6 months out and halfway there - I don't weigh except at the doctor's office, and I was sure I had not met my 6-month goal.  But I've lost 60 pounds total.  Beyond belief!

3 months out - I've lost 40 pounds.  I'm the slow, plodding turtle this time, but maybe this time I'll win the race! :-)

6 weeks post-op - Down 25 pounds.  So far, so good!

One month out - Checking in to say I just celebrated one month.  So far so good.
