WOW!! A year and 4months out!

Hey guys! I haven't posted anything in awhile, but I am doing great.  I am stabilizing at a 8-10 bottom and medium top!! I love being able to go into almost any store and pick up clothes knowing they are going to fit for the most part!! I have adjusted pretty well to my sleeve and know how to eat.  I know what's a waste of time and what I may spend 30min trying to eat because it is so good!! I have given up a lot of my old comfort foods because there is really no point trying to eat some of them especially the meats.  I still get the old feelings of wishing I can eat everything on my plate, but at times I trick myself and just fix a very small plate then I get the justification of finishing it all when it is clear.  It is still hard for me to eat around people that don't know I have had the surgery.  They always ask questions when we go out to eat and I box more than half of my food to go...I just remind them that I lost this weight from eating small portions and that is what I am going to continue to do...eat small portions.  They are OK with that response most of the time!  If I had the chance I would probably do the surgery all over again because I love the results!  The only thing is that sometimes, I still see the "old" me and wonder was it really worth it, but it is!!  Co-workers and others around still ask am I still loosing weight...I AM NOT!! in fact I gained 6lbs...that's small, but still a little scary!! Sometimes I think I can actually see and feel that six pounds; I don't know if that's crazy or if I really can.  I hope you all are enjoying your sleeve and those that are just beginning...IT IS WORTH IT!!!
