Well I have been overweight all my life pretty much. I am now 34 and having severe symptom's of fibromailga. After seeing 10 + people at the large company I work for have great successes

I made the second attempt to discuss it with my doctor. Our talk went well he is pretty understanding but also realistic. I received my referral 2 weeks ago. Last night I attended a informational seminar at a local hotel about the surgeon in my area. I was impressed with how real he is and the take he had on our conditions. So today I called my insurance company to see what the requirements were. They said you had to have a BMI over 40 which I do and that you needed to have 5 years of documented morbid obesity - I am not so sure about that one. However there is a woman I work with who is further along in the process and she has the same insurance and didn't mention any problems getting approved.

So I am hopeful. This is my chance to start living. I want to feel alive and not hide so much. Silly as is sounds. People that know me wouldn't believe I feel that way. But I wish I had started sooner. I see that this site and information has given me some hope. Its encouraging to see so many people say . . .no regrets, I love my new life. I realize its not a cure all but I look at it like a way out. I tool that I am missing and I need to succeed.
