I'm 31......I've been struggling with my weight since I was about 14...like many I have tried countless ways of dieting, Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, pills, powders, and you name it....it has been done..only to regain my 10 lbs lost plus some. I began to seriously research WLS about 5 years ago. In 2005 I was looking into having it done through Rose Medical Center, but of course, my health insurance at the time denied the request for WLS and then the company changed Insurances. By December of 2005, I find out i'm pregnant with my 3rd child and that really set things back...THEN, I heard that Denver Medical had a program and i decided to give it a try.
I attended the Bariatric Seminar on 2/23/07, (very interesting process by the way) i filled out the app and began to make appts with the nutritionist and psych.
