6 week post-op appt

This morning I saw Dr. Cerrabona (whom I love!) for my 6 week checkup. When he came in, he was like, "You're doing great with the weight loss" and he could tell by the look on my face that I wasn't equally impressed. Of course, this led to a discussion about how since I didn't weigh 400lbs or 300lbs I wouldn't lose as much as quickly and then he said that they actually make pouches smaller the bigger you are and blah-blah-blah. I know all that to be true but still...when I compare my weight loss (30lbs) to people who had surgery around the same time or even the same day, it kind of depresses me. BUT he said I was actually "ahead of schedule" weight loss-wise, so I promised I wouldn't compare my loss to anyone else's anymore blah-blah-blah. :)But what I was excited about the most was that I no longer have to take chewable or liquid anything! I can go back to regular multis and calcium and that is such a relief!
Next appt in 6 wks at the 3 month post-op mark!
