My name is Maggie. I am married and have two beautiful daughters who are the joy of my life. My life has been restricted so much because of my wieght and although I am a social person and enjoy the company of others but I found myself so isolated and withdrawn from participating in the daily life acitivities because of my obesity.
I have been overweight as long as I can remember. I have been dieting and watching what I eat almost my entire life. I followed almost all kinds of diets and exercised regularly to lose the weight, but it always come back no matter what I do.
I have dreamed all my life of losing the excess weight to improve my health and to restore my self esteem and confidence and simply to regain my life back. I dreamed so much of being part of my kids daily acitivity, to run, jump, play and be an active part of their life without the weight. These are my reasons for having this surgery which I hope will happen so soon.
