I've been looking int GB for over a year now, especially since my mom had the procedure done about three years ago.  As of December 2010, I'm around 350 with a BMI of almost 50%.  I have co-morbidities consisting of the onset of arthritis in both knees as well as bi-lateral chondromylatia; two bulging discs in my lower back; probems sleeping (not sleep apnea TTL); I am anemic, as well as have a handful of vitamin deficiencies.

My decision to have GB finally arrived when I could no longer find jeans that fit and I started shopping in the men's big & tall section at Kmart up the road.  All this was further compounded by the humiliating fact I can no longer sit in a booth when I go out, and I started avoiding going out in public all together.

My psych evalution has been completed, with flying colors, and I meet again with my physican soon, then the referral to the surgeon.  I'm hopeful by the time my 41st birthday rolls around at the end of June I'll not only be able to slide myself into a booth, but I'll also be able to to fit in the pair of skinny jeans that have been hanging in my closet for the past three years.
