Wow, where do I begin with "My Story"? That's certainly a loaded one. I'm severely obese. Nope, not chubby, bulky, muffin-topped, big-boned, chunky, fat or large. I am just plain obese. Severely. What a sad state of affairs.
Anyway, like many others, I've been this way my whole life. Not as extreme as I am now but I've certainly never been the weight I should be.
I want to get healthy.
I want to be happier.
I want to buy size 6 clothing especially since the last time I wore that size I was a fetus.
There are many, many other reasons but those are the highlights.
I'm not sure yet which surgery I want but it's between Realize Band and RNY. I have to diet for 6 months prior to surgery so I have plenty of time to decide. I've dieting for 2 weeks now & I'm starting to feel a little better already. The next 5.5 months are going to be quite a ride.
