Where to Start

So I went to a weight loss seminar at Vanderbilt In Nashville, Tn about 4 years ago this week! Even though my BMI at the time was about 40-45 I didnt have the support of my PCP who felt I was too young and could lose the weight naturally! FAIL!!
I am approximately 360lbs today back then i fluctuated alot between 300-330..

Since then I have developed sever sleep apnea, I am Insulin resistant and i had to have my L5 disk removed due to herniation. :(

High blood pressure, fibro, and depression too... :(  I am no longer able to work from a combination of my problems which just depressed
me even further. I spent years being the bread winner I have 3 beautiful children I would love to be active with and live to see grow up.

Thankfully the state has provided me with insurance in my time of need. I have to go to a different Hospital because of this. I am scheduled to go to my seminar at MTMC hosted by Dr. George Eckles Next Wed.!! I am so excited.. I know I am a long way away from getting insurance approval etc. but nothing has worked! not weight watchers... Not phentremine(raised blood pressure thought i was dying) and now until I lose some weight my back is not the best for general excercise. I can walk and I can diet so pre op weight loss doesnt scare me. i HAVE chose VSG as my surgery type and i hope to join the rest of the losers soon!
