He has a calm demeanor and takes a serious interest in his patients. He presents options based on facts and empowers you to make the final decision as to which surgery you feel you would be most successful.rnHis staff is available via phone or email and they are very friendly and supportive as well.rnHe strongly supports aftercare and post-op follow-up which I believe is so valuable for this life changing journey.rnTo rate him overall on a scale of 1-10 based on my pre- and post-op experiences, I have to go off the scale and say 11. I had very little post-op discomfort. His experienced methods made this surgery incredibly easy for me. Of course there are always risks, but the risks were addressed during my pre-op consultation and my questions (and my husband's) were answered and my mind was put at ease. You have to weigh the options and be comfortable with your decision. I feel believing in the surgery and your surgeon are key elements to your success as well.rnNegative comments? Hmmm.... I wish I didn't have to fly to San Francisco for the surgery, but we don't have facilities (Center of Excellence) in HI (Maui) where Dr. C is comfortable. If he isn't comfortable, neither am I. I (along with my husband) had to stay a week in SF, but that was precautionary and I respect that as well. I am truly glad he comes to Maui for the follow-up care."
