Step 1 the seminar

Well, yesterday (July 1st)  I sat in on the required seminar to begin my weight loss surgery journey. I typically do a lot of searching on the internet and find out all the bad stuff before even going into something like this, and I did this time as well. 

At the seminar they went over each of the three types of surgeries that the center offers (RNY,Sleeve and LapBand). 

Honestly I went in with the thought of going the route of RNY but after the seminar and letting everything sink in I feel more comfortable going the route of the gastric sleeve. 

I am having some second thoughts about the whole thing, mainly at the idea of having most of my stomach cut out of me and stapling what is left back together. I am going to have to deal with those thoughts and get over this fear.
