So, how did it go? I wanted to give you some time to get settled. If you need anything, please ask. Isn't Dr. Harrington the best? Michelle

Dr. Harrington is the most amazing human being. You can feel confident that he will take the best care of you. I have had no complications and have gone from 299 to 282.5 in 10 days. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I will warn you though.... the first day after surgery you will be feeling good except for the gas. Have the nurse give you a dose of pain meds before she disconnects your IV. On the way home from the hospital hold a pillow over your stomach and tell whoever is driving to "GO SLOW" because you will feel every dip and pot hole like it was tearing you apart. Get the precription for the tylenol 3 filled before you get home - you will need it! I tried to rough it out and it was HORRIBLE!! Once you make it through the first 3 days, every day gets better and better. It took me almost a week before I actually started to feel hungry so dont be surprised, those food commercials didn't do anything for me....lol. You will be fine and feel free to ask away!! Good luck and I'll be thinking of you. Michelle
