One month ago today I was Scared out of my mind and filled with excitement and joy! No I was not giving birth, I was getting ready to change my life. I was having WLS the RNY. So I guess in a sense I was giving birth to the start of a new me on May 29th 2009. All I know is that all the way to the OR I was thinking am I sure am I sure? Then I was out. when I woke up I thought What have I done? I think all I was thinking and feeling is normal, but I do not regret a single moment since surgery. I feel I take more pride in myself, and what goes in my mouth and what I cook for me and my family. It definitely was the BEST choice I have ever made regrading my physical self. I still have a lifetime to go and I know there will be ups and downs but I know the end result will be the same...A happier, healthier more slim me!
