OK - I'm 39 years old. I'll be 40 in December 2010 and I am so damn sick of being overweight. I've gone up and down and the fact that I have PCOS hasn't helped a bit. I've been denied by my insurance company because I've been not quite 40 BMI and I have no co-morbidities. Had VSG in Mexico on October 4, 2010. Totally uneventful surgery and recovery.
I am, however, a lot more than my weight. I'm happily married for almost 11 years. Husband and I ride a Honda VTX 1300 through the hills above L.A. By day I'm a researcher at a major medical school and by night and weekend, I'm a designer.
