Donna, I'm so glad this is finally happening for you, after all you've gone through. I do have a few tips: back scratcher, Chapstick, tongs, battery-operated radio or other media player. The back scratcher not only helps you reach itches less painfully but helps you reach things, e.g., on the bedside table. Toilet tissue in the tongs extends your reach and makes it less painful to wipe. The rooms are short of outlets because they're all being used for your IV and other equipment. If the morphine gives you a headache, ask for Tylenol suppositories. I hope everything goes smoothly for you.
