I spoke to Marcia by phone this afternoon. She was sitting in a chair. She said the surgery wasn't nearly as bad as she expected, and she didn't have her cough.

Marcia's husband, Sam, just phoned to tell me that she came through the surgery just fine and is now in room 3204 at Norman Regional Hospital.

I talked to Marcia today. Earlier in the week she had her psych consult and a class reiterating all the info she's gathered with all the consults. She is having some problems with her asthma from inhaling some fumes, but the doctor has given her the go ahead for surgery in the morning. She is preregistered for the Ambulatory surgery department, and will be the second surgery tomorrow (Monday). She was spending today visiting with family. I know she would appreciate any encouraging notes as she begins her journey. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. She is my sister and my friend! Dorothy
