My One Year Surgiversary 9/22/09

Hello Everyone!
I am so thrilled to say that it is one year since I had my revision to RNY! 
I have lost 60 pounds since the day of my surgery - Not a ton of weight but it has been slow and steady. All together, including my lapband, I have lost 120 pounds! My life has totally turned around. I no longer have to worry about getting out of breath. I can go shopping and carry heavy bags of groceries without worrying. I no longer am concerned about how far I have to walk from the car to the store. I don't need to find a place to sit down and rest. I no longer need any meds for diabetes and I am off of all but one for asthma. I can fit in seats in theaters and in booths in restaurants. My husband and I moved into a 2nd floor apartment and I don't worry about the stairs. I have gone from a size 30-32 that was skin tight to a 14/16 that actually fits! I am so happy! I regret the time I wasted on the LapBand but my life is wonderful now... I love my RNY because it has saved my life! I will be turning 61 on October 4th but my RNY has given me a new start on life!
