I started this journey at the age of 26 because I wanted to make major changes in my life. I come from a family of overweight people and my poor eating habits started in childhood. I have tried a number of diets and have been successful , but gained the weight back VERY quickly as soon as I got tired of the of the diet and lost focus. I looked at this surgery as my LAST resort to reach and maintain a healthy weight.
