10 Days Away!

I am now 10 days away from surgery. I started the liquid diet today, and so far so good. I stocked up on protein drinks, broth and sugar free jello. Can't believe that's all I'm going to have to eat for the next 10 days! I weighed myself this morning and it will be my unofficial count as to my weight loss. I should also take my measurements, and track that as well. Wish me luck!
Two Weeks Out

Well, as of today, Jan 2nd, I am two weeks away from surgery. I start my liquid diet on Jan 6th and have heard its the hardest part of the process. I'm excited to start this new part of my life, and a little scared too. I have the usual fears: fears about the surgery, fears that I won't lose weight even after the surgery, fears that I won't be able to stick to the diet, even though my ability to eat will be strongly curbed. I'll work though these things, hopefully, over the next couple of weeks and then after surgery. The people at the OH chatroom have been great and really supportive. Off I go on to this new adventure!
