I RAN! and I don't mean the country!

Monday night during my workout at the gym i did my normal weights then jumped on the elliptical for 15 minutes then moved over to the treadmill for another 15 minute workout. Last week I ran twice for 2 minutes each and I didn't seem to have a problem with it but I didn't want to overdo it either (Asthma and bad knee). So I decided I would try running again I would just take it one minute at a time and when I felt I needed to stop I would but I had to break my two minute mark. So i turned up my tunes and started running... I hit 3 minutes pretty quickly and easily so I pushed for 4. I was in shock I didn't even feel winded yet. So I kept pushing on. 8 minutes had passed. WHAT?!??!!? Am I seriously running that long now? My husband comes over and sees that I am running so I continue running until I get to the end of my workout. I ran over 10 minutes! I was beside myself to say the least! I just kept saying...I can't believe I just did that! I was in shock. So now that I know I can run 10 minutes my next challenge is to run 12 and go from there. :)
