First time for everything

Today is a day of renewed hope and amazement for life!! I am getting closer to scheduling my surgery dates for LBL, BA(revision BL), and some thigh work(?). Will consult with 2 more doctors in OK. and then with my fave in Dallas. I have been trying to lose those last stubborn 20 lbs. but time is running out with the summer weather being 6 mts away. Planning a trip somewhere by an ocean, so would like to be semi-healed for that.
The surgeon is Dallas wants to do the plastic surgery in 3 stages. Facelift, LBL, and then BA/ARM. Well, my face will definitely be last...it's the other parts that are bothersome. ha ha
Recovery for the body work can be brutal and being away from home so long scares me, even if it is only 3 hours away. I am blessed with many friends but they all have children or demanding jobs, so I would need a caretaker for the first 2 weeks or so.
Being on these boards and reaching out and meeting new people on this same journey has helped me immensley. Been fortunate to have conversed with some of these remarkeable women and gained confidence from their humor, insightfulness, courage, and gentle spirits.
Today, I am grateful for these boards!!
