Pre-Admissions visit

Nov 15, 2017

SO Yesterday 11/14 at 7:45AM I went to my scheduled pre-admissions visit where they took 3 tubes of blood, then I went and met a anesthesiologist who went over medical history with me and signed some papers. Explained a few things that I knew due to the fact that I have had 5 surgeries before. Then I waited for a nurse and he asked me questions as well and signed papers and all. Then I was done by 9:30AM. I went to move the car cause parking really sucks in the ciity. Dropped the car home and came back because I had class at 11AM. In the class I saw the same nurse that basically went over the liquid diet, before surgery, during surgery and after surgery care. What we should bring what not to bring. What to expect basically! There were a total of 8 of us 4 of which were my Doctors patient and we were told to do the diet he send us to do which consists of 1 week pre-op clear liquids and protein shakes and the others follow a 2 days pre-op liquid diet. But I knew every doctor is different so I wasn't surprised. I met a couple people who told me their story and we congartulated each other and I'm keeping in contact with two of them which I think is a wonderful thing to do. We parted ways and now is wait time!! 4 days 13 hrs 5 mins... lol but who is counting...
