I just wanted to do a quick little write regarding my recovery for surgery on the 7th of this month.  Almost seven days out and have had NO complications from the surgery itself-however, I believe that my intubation landed me in a world of hurt.  I had been septic, bordering on pneumonia, and had pulmonary edema that would only allow me to sleep for two hours at a time.  EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING!!!!  I will say that keeping up with protein and fluid intake are rough but doable with a protein shake that you can tolerate.  After being on Levaquin, im finally starting to feel much better and last night was my first full night of sleep.  Thanks for all the well wishes but things are looking up I think.  Talk to you all soon, gotta drink my protein :)
