Hi, today I am 3 days from hitting my 5 month anniversary of having gastric bypass. I am very happy with the results so far. I am down 125 pounds since last November. I am really excited to see my dad and his wife on Christmas day. I haven't seen my dad since September and everyone whose had the surgery should know how much change happens in 3 months time (especially in the first 6 months).
I am not really as upset as I thought I might be about skipping the holiday snacks. I took 1 bite of a chocolate chip cookie and I didn't get sick so that's good enough for me.
I am working on my life all aspects of it. I am going to counseling and have returned to my church. I want to be all that I can to match my new body. Anyway, I am very happy today!!
