Well..almost another month has past.  I have lost 38 lbs and I feel really good.  My pant size has shrunk, but not really my top yet....oh well I am going in the right direction anyway!!!  Walking 5 nights a week for 1.5 to 2 miles, it certainly has gotten easier every day.
Still having trouble getting in my protein and all the water but i will try harder tomorrow...i look forward to putting new pics up, but i don't yet see a huge difference in myself yet even though others seem to notice a big difference.
Now, if I could only figure out the whole bowel movement issue...i will be all set!!  lol   too much info to put on here but i want to keep track of whats going on.

HEY EVERYONE!!
I have to update a lot of info in this one post. i swore i would not end up in this position BUT i did!!
so, my surgery was 4/2.  on 3/30 my aunt and i spent fri and sat in new york city. we had a blast and i am so glad we kept busy so i couldnt worry myself to death. sunday afternoon, the 1st, we got a hotel in new haven near the hospital and i did my bowel prep.YUCK
monday at 5:30am we went to the hospital and did i was wheeled into the surgery room about 7:20ish.  i must have got meds on the way to the operating room because i dont remember one thing about it!!
i dont remember much until waking up around 7pm in my room which i shared with a woman who had the same surgery as me and boy she seemed to be doing much better than me!!
I was shocked at how much pain i was in and i stayed until weds. 4/4
I went home and the pain started to subside by friday the 6th.  i went back to work on monday the 9th but only did half days there this week.  i feel good.  still on clear liquids...until monday when i see dr. valin...

Hey Everyone, this is Melissa`s daughter Elizabeth.
I just wanted you all to know about my mom.
As of right now she seems to be in a lot of pain, but handling it well. 
I feel bad though cause she can only have chunky protein drinks, but she told me shes not hungry. I have been trying to help her ut the best that I can. She is going to try to leave the house tomarrow, for the first time. And she has already lost 7 pounds!! it was so cool, she came home 7 pounds lighter without starting anything. 
My mom will be on soon you guys.

Well okay, had my last meal tonight....it was KFC. tomorrow i start the 1000 calorie diet.  only 1 week left before my surgery.......... i can't beleive it is so close!!! i can not wait for the losing to begin!!!!!!!!!!  going to New York this upcoming weekend before surgery. looking forward to it and lots of shopping trips to come..lol

Soooooooo.........yesturday i called my insurance company to find out that i have been approved.  This morning I called the Doctor and scheduled my surgery for 4/2.
i can't beleive i am soooo close!!!!!!!!!  i am excited and can't wait to get my pre op visits  over with.

Been way too long since i posted here. Made it through the 5 day diet.....it was tough, lost 9 pounds but put that back on before seeing the nutritionist on 2/17.
All the necessary stuff is done now and I just have to wait for the insurance company approval.  I HOPE THEY APPROVE MY DOCTOR WHO IS OUT OF STATE!!!!!!!!!!  i dont know why i didnt think of this before.......dr. valin took my insurance card so i was assuming he was a participating provider, and i have not gotten a bill.....i dont know.....this is making me CRAZIER THAN USUAL!!!!!

So tomorrow morning I start my 5 day protein diet......I am so scared and excited at the same time.  I hope my head stays in the right mindset.   I am definitely going to miss Coffee (caffeinated)!!!!!!!!  I will make it....I have to, to save my life.

Well I had my consultation at Dr. Valins office today....I was very pleased and hoping to have surgery by the end of MARCH..yep

Oooohhh  I am almost scared to add my measurements on here but I really want to keep track so I am at least going to list the spots I want to measure and update this post with the actual numbers soon....

I am thrilled to report that I am one step closer..........I got my consultation appointment today!!!!!!!!!!!!!  wooooohoooo  It is scheduled for January 19th.....not too bad
