I wouldn't describe him as warm but I'm not looking for a hug, I'm looking to save my life!rnI have only met him once prior to surgery.rnThe office staff is very warm and friendly, I liked them a lot and appreciated that one of the staff had the surgery herself. I also really appreciated that in their office they have oversized seats and chairs for our comfort.rn The risks of surgery were explained very clearly to me more than once.rnI have not had surgery yet, but I would rate Dr.Duffy, Dr.Bell (who has a great sense of humor by the way, he ran the group info meeting), and the office staff as very good and above and beyond my expectations.rnrnUpdate:rnThe above I wrote before surgery. I am several months post op now and I feel that the after care for this office is poorly lacking to say the least. I have never seen nor been referred to a nutritionist since surgery. I get very conflicting follow up care advice from the nursing staff depending on who you get on the phone. Dr.Duffy seems thrilled at how much weight I've lost but unconcerned if it is at the expense of being completely malnourished, vitamin deficient and unable to eat properly. I feel that I was left out in the cold to hang once the surgery was completed and paid for. "
