I had my surgery on August 15, 2007.  I went back August 30 for my two week check-up and he says well ya have lost 24 lbs your doing great.  I was so happy.  I thought that one of my cuts on my stomach was infected but he said no.  That a little drainage is ok.  So I am not really feeling restriction. I guess I won't feel that til I get my first fill.  I go back Sept. 27 for that.  I have been doing really good I think with my eating.  I started a new job and it's working my butt of so that should help some of these pounds come off.   

I got a date 8-15-07.   I am so excited.  I will have less than a year before I am getting married. (8-08-08).  I am gonna work my butt off with the help of this surgery to lose the most weight I can.  Oh my god, I can't belive this day is soooo close.  I am ready.  I really think my mind is tooooo.  I can do this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First apppointment with Dr. Olsofka.  I was so nervous not knowing what to expect.  when he came in he was very nice.  He ask me if I had any stomach problems or surgerys.  He had me lay back and felt on my stomach.  That was it then he ask me if I had any questions.  I ask about how long the approval takes.  He said he would dictate the paper work right then and send it off to the insurance company.  That I should have a answer back by the end of next week.  (I was like WOW).  He said that 50% of my weight loss is in my head and the other was his job.  He said we would work together and have fun watching the weight come off.  So for now I'm weighting to hear back from them.  Once they get to Okay from the insurance company they will schedule my pre-op testing.  My insurance company only requires a psych exam and to see a dietition.  So now all  I can do is weight.
