1st doctor's appointment

Had my first 1 on 1 doctor's appointment today. Everything is looking good sooo far and next month is going to be very busy. I have my ultrasound, bloodwork, psychologist and nutritionist appointments,  an EGD, support groups, and a follow up. Time to get the ball rolling. Doctor says he only want me to lose atleast 10 pounds before the surgery which I feel confident. As of right now, my surgery is going to be in september and I'm really excited about it despite the feelings my sister has about it. I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters. I am the only one who is overweight, let alone obese. My older sister doesn't want me to get the surgery and I respect her personal opinion but it is not mine. I am doing this for myself and my future not for her. She and none of my other siblings know how it feels to be over 100lbs overweight. I am totally looking forward to getting healthy and getting in shape.
