I had gastric bypass and self paid just to look good.  I had no health problems at all.  Now I have a list of them.  I traded my health to be skinny.

Had blood work and my iron level is NORMAL!!!!!! My ferritin and hgb is still low but it  is progress


I am feeling  a little better!


I go on my trip to Pigeon Forge this weekend.  We are hauling the Harley down to ride.  A few other couples are going and it going to be so much FUN!  I can't believe I am riding a motorcycle.  It  feels so good to be thin.

I have the Novasure tomorrow . I am so hopeful this will work and my iron will come up.  I feel like shit all the time. Somedays I don't want to even move.  I never thought I would have so much problems with my labs after WLS.  I have had 2 iv iron infusions and my labs are lower than when I started.  Something has to work.. I am really getting worried.

I had my first IV iron tranfusion on June 27th.  I am going to take them once a month.  It seems like I feel better for a few days after.  Then I have my period and it zapps me.  I am suppose to have the Novasure procedure on Aug. 7th to help control the bleeding so maybe I can get my iron up.  With wls and heavy periods I can't seem to get my iron up.

In May I have Lap surgery to repair a hernia, scar tissue and a kinked bowel.  It was suppose to make me feel better but I am still waiting.

 

Would I have WLS again?  YES! YES! YES!

It is hard to believe it has been 4 years since my WLS.  I struggle alot with vitamin definecy and nausea but all in all I have done wonderful.

Now I know why I couldn't get anyone to respond on the taste.  IT SUCKS!!!  The b complex I nearly vomited on it.  This is some nasty stuff.  Even the calcium everyone brags about has a terrible aftertaste... yuck!

I got my labs back last week.  My iron is low.  I have been taking 325 mg 3 X's a day.  My hands and feet are feeling alot better.  I haven't that nagging bone pain in a few days.

I am trying to eat 6 small meals a day.  When I went to the doctor I was 8 pounds less than I was 3 months ago.  She didn't like that but understood why.    Since my Dad died it seems hard to plan my meals.  My head and heart is not into it.

Well that is what they said I have.  My bloodwork will come in next week to see if I have any  vitamin deficiencies to cause this. 

I think these are freaky.  I took over 25 pictures only 3 had these Orbs and they were all by Kaylee.

passed away on September 20, 2007 of Pancreatic cancer.  I will miss him dearly
