After waaaay to long I am back on the boards. Its been a long journey. At my lowest weight I had lost 170lbs. I was 160lbs the lowest I had ever been in my teen or adult life. Now I have regained (while I was on vacation out of the country for 3 weeks) I have not lost that weight back. I might try but truthfully even though my BMI is "overweight" it was even at 160 and I was looking rail thin. I also have come to realize that there is no cosideration on the BMI calculators for the excess skin, which I have a LOT of. I will keep you updated as to what I do.

2 weeks and ?????

Well, here it is 2 weeks post op. I am on the Dark Side. I have lost 27lbs since surgery. That parts all good, but I have definately got the WTF did I do. My hospital stay was pretty awful and recovery has been difficult. My addiction to food is very obvious to me now in as much as I cannot eat hardly anything. But I want everything I cannot have. Getting Vitamins down is hard and bothersome and I am already sick of the taste of the protein suppliments. I hope this will get easier... Right now even eatting is very difficult. The only thing I am happy about is I have not gotten sick off of anything (yet).

UPDATE- Today is 3 weeks from my schedualed surgery date of 11/03/08. I have completed all of my pre-op testing.
I have not seen a NUT but I will be doing that right before surgery pending insurance approval. I do not have approval yet because Ileana now has to hound my PCP to get the medical clearance etc. Then they can finally submit. I hope its a yes... The only good thing about not knowing is that I cant really freak out/get cold feet. Unfortunatly I am a pesimest and think it will be a no. =0( 
Last Night I tried to invision what it would be like to have surgery and sadly I have to say I can't. I dont remember what it was like to be small. I have been so big for so long I just don't know what its like. I tried to remember the last time I weighed less that 200lbs. I was 10. I also recently realized that my scale @ home is off by like 10lbs so I actually started @ 335 lost like 15lbs on weight watchers which I have gained all back so I am currently @ 331 with a BMI of 54!
