So much has been happening! Donnie and I are getting married on May the 5th in Eastland Texas. That is where my parents and one of my brothers live. My brother James is an extrodiary interior designer by trade and has also volunteered to be my "wedding planner". God love him! He found the location for the wedding. It is in a historical building on the top floor. It looks like a conservatory from days gone by. The colors we chose are chocolate and red. It is different, but so am I! I have always been told I am a little non-traditional. I am under 200 pounds now and I feel amazing.I had another surgery on my left foot and the Doc fused my left big toe in place and removed a huge bunyon. Trust me, I have Fred Flinstone feet! I am so excited to get my foot well so I can go shoe shopping! I have had to wear tennis shoes for so long that the transistion into a "dress" shoe is very exciting for me! There are mornings when I get up and get ready for work I feel like pinching myself. THIS IS MY LIFE AND IT IS SO AMAZING! Well, I just wanted to check in, see how everyone is doing. Let me hear from you all! Kim and I attended a seminar for Dr. Smith. Our lapband doctor. Kim speaks at alot of his functions but this was my first time. It was very emotional for me. Dr. Smith had not seen me for about 8 months so needless to say he was suprised. I was so thrilled that I got to tell my story and also to see Kim tell hers. She is an incredible young woman. My life is so full right now. I know life is full of hills and valleys, but the hill right now feels really good.

It has been raining here for 3 days. Now we actually have ice and several large tree limbs have broken loose. it was 69 here Thursday. Texas weather. I never will get used to it! I have been a member of OH for only a few days, but I am truly enjoying it.There are so many interesting people. Most chat rooms and blogs are pretty scary. This is refreshing to meet so many "normal" people. I had a sales meeting at our corporate office yesterday, we have them every month. It is great to go now. I actually feel like I fit in and am enjoying partisapating. Before WLS I was so embarressed of my size, even though I did a great job I was ashamed of how I looked. I have never kept a journal before, so pardon me if I go on about mundane things. I'll get the hang of it. Hope everyone has a fantastic week.
