I am a 36 year old girl from NY and my name is Michele. I have had a weight problem all my life. I also have diabetes, high blood pressure and sleep apnea. I thought about RNY for 6 years now. One day Nov. of 2007. I did excessive walking and my legs hurt for 1 whole week after that(legs hurt from the weight). Well, a calmness had come over me and I was no longer afraid because I was ready. I am ready to be healthy and happy. I will keep you posted on this new journey of my life.
