another birthday come and gone

wow cant believe im 68 now.....we just got home from a 4000 mile trip on a Goldwing Trike....pretty amazing for a 68 year old but doesnt seem that amazing to me for me...we have been in Az. visiting my oldest daughter who took us mountain climbing , yep me mountain climbing at 68 for the first time. we also walked and walked on lots of trails up in the foothills of t he mountains on several different days. went to so many things and saw so much and felt great. no pains at all in AZ i would move there in a minute if my hubby would want to too,.
while we were gone on vacation i lost 7 pounds that i have been trying for over a year to lose ....think it might have been all the climbing and walking ??? lol i bet it was...so now i know how much i can do i will be pushing myself more on the exercise but that doesnt compare to climbing....
also while there for two weeks i lifted weights with my daughter...she lifts weights daily ...strong woman.,...and she isnt a young girl anymore either......
