Now that I look back at my life I realize that I  have always been up and down with my weight. When I was about five I was very thin due to many throat infections which lead to my tonsils being taken out. I then started gaining weight, still not out of control but was fuller. In my preteen years I got more and more into music and didn't really enjoy playing outside as much, so I started gaining weight I was pretty heavy by the age of thirteen, but then mother nature help me out. I went through puberty and all the heaviness turned to height ,and I figured out a could build muscle mass very quickly.By the age of fifteen -sixteen years old I was playing football everyday and Dj'ing at night. I was in honors classes at the time and did well in school but even though I did all these things I was never offered any help for college (scholarships) the councilors in my school kept telling me that college just wasn't for me. Being a young kid a believed them not to mention that my dream was to go to Full Sail in Orlando,Fl but my parents saw my music as a waste of time, later I found out how many opportunities there were out there for me but at that point I had hit a depression that overwhelmed every aspect of my life, even though I didn't know it. I always would try to find joy in two things women and food. Both were unhealthy for me. Every night a different women and every night a different place to eat. My lifestyle after high school was very active so I never really saw the damage food was doing to me,later I would. I met my wife in 1997 and I have been with her ever since. Looking back we were actually very bad for each other because we were both damaged by our past and still had a lot of growing up to do. Therefore we both became very stressed and stagnant then weight started adding up for both of us. We both ballooned very quickly but we managed to do the yo-yo weight loss many times due to a very rocky marriage most of the time. In December 27, 2004 I was in a parking lot in Brandon,Fl and a car hit me as I was walking across the street, long story short I was off my feet for two years. I was on very heavy meds and couldn't move during that time. The weight was ridiculous and I was over 300lbs, November of 2006 was when I actually got back to work and have doing great since but now I have the catch 22 happening. My back cannot take weight so I need to loose massive amounts of weight,so I need to work out but , when I try my back can't take the workout because of the weight. So my doctor suggested I go for gastric bypass in order to be able to get back into my active lifestyle with less risk of injury. I think this a perfect time, I see life in a different way after the accident and my marriage is better than ever. I think it's time!!!
