Yes, I did it! Had the RNY laproscopically last Wednesday - a week ago. The hospital staff were just great and I felt so taken care of. So much happened in just one night in the hospital!I'm feeling good and the food isn't as difficult as I anticipated. Water drinking is going as recommended. All in all unremarkable recovery. So far, I consider myself quite lucky. I've had great support. My husband is the BEST, my sis has been there for me, and my brother came from Atlanta for a couple of days. Friends have been checking in and offering help, too. Right now, it's a day at a time. Little pain, just tired sometimes.
