I'm so glad I've had this past six weeks to adjust. I'm feeling fine, though I do often have cottage cheese to avoid any pouch issues. Today Michael got his surgery date... in about a month, Dec. 16 to be precise, my sweetheart will join me on the losers' bench. I had no idea how much this meant to me until he got his scheduled. I can breathe. I want him with me on this (and every) journey of my life! We both deserve to feel better and be better. It has been tough waiting for his hoops to be completed. But we are there.The holidays will be very special for us this year. Can't wait to be doing this with him, and it will be soon!
