Hi Marisa, I came home on Friday also! I had an uneventful surgery as well, I was scared as heck before hand though my children were with me and I kept thinking about "what if" my sisters, nurses, anesthesteologist all assured me that I would be fine, and low and behold I was! I had to wait in the recovery room for about 6 hours before I got to my own room. (they had a shortage on beds!) I feel fine physically but mentally I am a little down. I feel like I have lost something.....Yeah my freedom. Hopefully I will feel better. ; - ) Anyway, Im glad you are doing well. Keep in Touch! Hugs....Melissa

Well, it's day 3 post-op, and I'm home. I got home yesterday afternoon, actually! I'm sore, but doing all right. I think my biggest complaint is from my herniated disc in my back, and not from my surgery!! LOL Dr. Bertha said my surgery was "textbook" with nothing unusual at all! My prayers for uneventful were answered!!! Other than arguing with the recovery room nurse that I hadn't had surgery yet (when I wouldn't have been in recovery otherwise :o)I was the model patient. All the nurses said I was doing "phenominal" and better than normal. Even my roommate was amazed at how quickly I was up and walking! I'm looking forward to the coming days when I feel better and better!! Thank you to everyone for your support and prayers, and thanks to Lisa for being the perfect angel!!!
